As of the most recent census, just over 1,570 people call Vonore home — small enough that the older part of town along Depot and Hall Streets still feels distinctly historic, with a newer commercial stretch along US-411 handling day-to-day shopping and services. Public schools fall under the Monroe County School System, the same district serving Madisonville and the rest of the county.
